Default Fatbob Leather Pros/Harley Synthetic Saddlebags

I've been looking at bags for a while, and when I think I zero in on one, I... Well, I think I have it truly narrowed to either Leather Pros or the HD synthetic leather bags. Now I've seen pics out there, but I was wondering if you could post pics of your fatbob with either of these bags.

Also, I know that some of the quick release systems really push the bags a ways out from the frame of the bike and in some cases look unsightly. How far does the leather pro system push out? I'd like to see some rear shots showing this also.

Thanks all!

I think the Leather pros are probably one of the best if not the best detachable bags you can buy.I don't think they stick out any where near as far as anything with easy brackets or ghost brackets but mainly because the mounting system is built into the bags.I'm not sure if I can get to pictures of mine right now at work but I'll give it a shot.Sorry, I re read the original post I see you were looking for pictures of these bags on a Fat Bob but here's some of them on my Street Bob to get you going

I have the HD synthetic bags. I'm happy with them so far.

I have the Leather Pros. They go on/off quickly, guessing less than 15 seconds per bag. When they are off there is no noticeable hardware left on the bike.

I can try & get some pics tonight. You want a measurement of how far the bag is from the fender?

I went through the same thing last year. I ended up with a set of Boss Bags. They are removable in less than 5 seconds per side & lock onto the bike. The bags literately don't stick out from the bike. In my opinion they are the best looking bag with the best fit for the Fat Bob. They are a little pricey, but you won't ever second guess your decision.

Does the Leather Pro system work with the detachable sissy bar harware - I want to still have quick release option for both bags and sissy bar when I decide on the bags

Those look really nice. Also, that "big blue pearl" paint job looks quite nice in that photo as well. Couldn't tell if it was black or just reflecting some nice blue sky tones, then I saw your signature.

It does. And I should have said from the get go that I have the same thing, a detachable sissy bar.

Are they set up as detachable - if so what hardware did you use?
