Bobber are you running the same setup as the hot bike Daily Dyna build?

 

No I'm running the rt hi performance springs with gold valves.

I'm working on acquiring the necessary items to make adjustments. Since no one locally sells the amsoil fork oil (they all say 'I can order it for you'; Yeah me too...it's called the internet), A friend suggested redline. There is a local dealer that has the 10wt synthetic fork oil in stock. I'm gonna try that out.

Just for giggles, I called racetech too. I'm probably going to order new fork springs later today.

I can say, my bike running intiminators with the stock springs and amsoil 10wt fork oil rides like a brick up front.

I did happen to notice on the ricor site they have options for setups (dyna/vrod) whereas I did not have that option when I ordered mine long ago.

Just wondering, since mine are older, they were setup differently from ricor.

Properly tuned RT gold valves were the pinicale of front damper rod suspension for many years. The operative word being "were", past tense. Gold valves do not do the same thing that Intiminators do. Intiminators change the game with addition of the inertia valve element and segregated circuits; to my knowledge they are the only inertia activated product for the front end. They work!

 

Jason I'm glad you jumped in here. I feel like I've been peddling snake oil!

 

I know they do but I was hunting for instant gratification today. Lol. Made me feel like I am one step closer to tearing my forks apart.

I got some redline 10w fork oil semi locally. It's also synthetic.
