Default Pin Striping Denim Black Paint

Can someone explain to me the process of doing this? Maybe link to some information about it? What do they put over the pin striping that doesnt ruin the denim black finish?

Further, does anyone know a good guy in Michigan?

I love pinstriping on flat black. I can't even draw a straight line, let alone copy it on an opposite side. It's definitely an art and I admire anyone that can do it. Keep us posted on what you find.

Ironic. I remember seeing your bike on here last summer. It was my inspiration for wanting to get it done on my bike. I had other things I did to my bike last season. This year I am getting this done. Your bike looks amazing. I hope you dont mind if I damn near rip off the color choices and design. haha

So if nothing is applied over the striping...does it get effected by cleaning it or the weather at all?

I had mine pin striped by an artist at a car show for a little more contrast. He wiped the flat with some cleaner and began to paint till he finished..Did nothing else and is very durable.
