Default Battery Cover

This is what I am thinking about doing with my battery cover on my Low Rider. I have the old EGA emblem from my dress blues cover that is a screw post mount. I'll have to drill a hole and figure out how to prevent the nut from backing off from vibration. Maybe loc-tite will work.

You can take the battery strip off the cover, install it onto the strip, use red lock tite, or if you have some 3m ribbon sealer(aka dumb dumb). reinstall the strip to the cover. It should fall off. Just check it after every ride for a little bit to make sure it doesn't get loose.

TB
That's what I was thinking about. Just using the cheap aluminum strip to install it and not drill any more holes in the chrome battery cover. I'm also thinking about using a similar EGA to somehow install it on the back of my plain sissy bar plate. I might have to make a screw to accept the emblem because the original screw holds the backrest in place. I'm still mind designing that one.
