Ever removed baffles without removing mufflers?

I tried it on mine cause the baffles were only held in with three rivets on each can so I figured I'd just hit the rivets with the dremel, pull the baffle out and swap the new back in. Talk about a pain in the ***. But it was less time doing it that way then using my rubber mallet trying to break the mufflers loose, swapping in baffles, and then hammering the mufflers back on which I tried some months later to adjust the baffles again.
It's doable but you have such a limited space to get in there that there is a high chance your gonna mark up the chrome pretty good. If your not worried about a few scratches, go for it. Looking back I am thinking pulling the baffles and putting in some lolipops like the Thunder Torque Insert ones would have been easier and achieved similar results with less hassle.

spend less time removing the mufflers....just loosen the clamp, spray wd40 in where it meets the head pipe...you will see little slots when u loosen the muffler clamp, just spray a small amount right there. turn it counterclockwise a half inch they slide right off....wipe them out with a rag, then they slide right back on again...simple.
