Default FatBoy front-end on my '01 FXDXT

Looking for some advice if anyone has done this or point me in the direction of older threads. It is a '02 front end complete. Looking forward to switching over!

Sell the T sport and buy a regular FXD. It will be cheaper and you'll save a T sport. Otherwise it will work. Search for FL front end on Dyna. There is a whole thread and group about it.

Doesn't the fxdxt have adjustable front suspension? I can't see doing that to that bike.

Only a real jerk would do something that stupid. I see you already threw away the good rear shocks and put that stupid bagger fairing on it. Hopefully someone who rides hard gets your stock frontend.

It's a bike and more important it's HIS bike. Go for it, maybe hang onto the stock stuff just in case the FXDT shoots up in value like a 69 427 COPO Camaro so you can put it back to stock!

Check these out, they'll help.

It's not hard, biggest thing you have to work out is the steering stops. A bit of time with a grinder and you'll have the lower tree ready to go.

I'll buy your complete t-sport front end right now if you want some capital to buy that fat boy front end of your dreams.

A FXDXT is worth a decent penny more than a regular dyna. That's why I said sell it and start with a different bike. Just out of curiousity, what happened to the original fairing? The T sport is a model that was only made for a few years and has a cult following. Don't destroy it.
