Default made a heel toe shifter

now that i got the boards on the bike figured it would be nice to have a heel toe shifter... so i made one...

took a stock shifter, and cut and welded part of my spine from the mid control, being sure to space it off with a washer so the stock spine on the bike would clear

buddy gave me the stock heel kick off his st glide

added some powder to the mix and all done

Doesn't welding the male spline on prevent you from tightening the female spline?

low it is a tight fit and it is spaced off it will still get very tight on the shifter spine

No, I mean where the whole new assembly attaches to the male spline (not the male spline for the heel shift lever.

i know, it is spaced off the actual lever, still pinches plenty to hold her on there, if you look there is no weld at the seam... i was worried about the same thing

Yeah, it looked like the splined stub shaft being welded all-around would prevent the female spline from squeezing down.
