The same thing can be said about hookers and beer. Not starting an argument with ya, but, it's my bike and I will happily waste my money on changing my oil whenever I feel like it as well as waste my money on hookers and beer.

You can't do that without nullifying the warranty on the bike.
When I saw the title of this thread, I thought ... uh oh ... I see some 'flaming' about to commence ... about the OP not riding enough to warrant a periodic oil change ...
I start the with fress oil in all holes. The I change the oil every 3000 and the others at 6000. I use AMSDIL but I just cant run past 3000 on the engine. On our race engine we change every 20 runs and that is 13 qts with filter. Just makes the engine last longer and at 598 cid with 1037 HP oil is cheep.
I wouldn't trust any oil to run 5,000 miles on these bikes, especially in the summer months. They just run way to HOT! I use Mobil1 and change every 2,000-2,500 miles, depending on personal laziness.
Have you had an UOA done,or is it an uneducated assumption?
