It's the H-D compact QR hardware, with Klock Werks Billboard Flare plastic. And Memphis Shades lowers.

Looks a little like a crowd control shield that the police would use. However, the important thing is that you are bone dry in rain storms and bug free on warm nights.

Yes, it's a heat shield (on top of the main heat shield! ). It's made by K & H in Japan. There's a fibreglass moulding; inside that there's heat resistant material; on the top is the leather, screwed to the fibreglass (they look like rivets, but inside they're actually screws).

Yep, that color is growing on me big time. I saw the Ember red SB at the dealership today that prompted me to make this thread...I want to take it home but I have a perfectly good SB in the garage..dilemma.

They're the H-D distressed brown leather ones:

The bags are attached with Easy Brackets: makes it quick and easy to get them off for cleaning, or just to check the tyre pressure.
