Well I took it for a ride today, without the baffles and the loli pops installed it sounds sweet!

 

I just put in my TTI's with my stock baffle that came with my V&H Straight Shots....and I am very very very Happy! Got my low and mid range back and kept the sound!!!!!! Best $$ spent so far! Also did the heat shield mod to allow for the nut and the ability to change things quickly.

Interesting thread, if I have BCT baffles on my Short shot, any advantage doing this lollipop mod? The more I hear about my open exhaust, the more I want to gain back pressure. Thanks!

 

Hey guys and girls, have been reading about lollipop mods for couple of weeks now, I've got an old 79 ironhead and the buddy I got it from had drag pipes on it straight through, she had some slow roll issues at low speed and sputtered some, WOT was really nice but I don't ride her like that.....took the time today to lollipop her about 4 inches in, used 1 1/2 washers, left the holes in middle.....popped them in and down the road I went....COMPLETELY different power profile now, low end torque is significantly better, slow roll down to 10mph is beautiful now, flat spot just off idle is gone, took her up through 70mph and it feels more responsive, crisper throttle, now I've got to reset the clutch for the added low end torque, it slipped just a little when I tweaked her....my conclusion, I LOVE the lollipops and now the cops don't look at me near as bad, thanks for all the detailed write ups and pics, they work great on my baby
