Ride a bike with the Brembo's. They work great. The rotors for the brembo's (at least on the baggers) are 11.8". You can also get a 13" (300 mm )rotor and a bracket from RC components that will raise the caliper to accomodate the 13" rotor. PM also makes a caliper for 13" rotor and 13" full floating rotors.

It is a tough choice between the two. It all comes down to how much you want to spend.

If your main concern is braking performance then the answer is Brembo, if you are replacing for aesthetics as well and not concerned about best possible braking then my answer would be this: If you have PM wheels, go with PM Calipers, if you don't have PM wheels go for the brembos.

Does Brembo make 6 piston versions for a dyna (2000-2005). I can't find any info on them?

I put a 4 piston PM on the front of my springer.... it has amazing stopping power. but I also wanted the black contrast cut to go with my contrast cut wheels....

Default Brembo.......

I had a Brembo oversized Rotor & 4 Piston Caliper setup on my 2005 Dyna and it was a night & day difference over stock. The bike has a S&S 124 in it so stopping it was a big problem with the stock brakes.

I've since changed the front end to a Buell unit with the Perimeter Braking system and it really stops you in a hurry. Since I was using the Buell Front Wheel I also used the rear wheel after I modified the rear end and now I have a 190 mm tire back there.

I wasn't aware that there was a Brembo Caliper & oversized Rotor available for my new 09 Dyna so I'm glad you brought this up. I'll be looking to order one as soon as I can confirm that it's available.

I still have the 05 Brembo setup and it's just collecting dust in the shop. PM me if you have any questions.

Ride Safe,
P
