Thank for the feedback, my issue is that between the mounting, unmounting and shipping that a new tire costs less...whether they replace it or not, not to mention that my bike will be on the lift for at least a month.... Going to give it on more try..

What bike do you have and what tire pressure you run? Front or Rear?

Where were the tyres made? its stamped on the side.

The German ones are still very good tyres but they bought out Pirelli and many Metzelers are now made in the Brazilian Pirelli factory and there have been quite a few reports of bad Metzelers ever since.

Do some searches and you will find the Brazilian Metz plant is whack.
The same tires, i.e. 150 rear, made in Germany are actually 150 width while the ones made in the Brazilian plant are more than a centimeter narrower. I've got photos of each I can post to prove this but it has already been confirmed on-line that the Brazilian plant has been cutting corners.
Fact: That plant is corrupt.
