Some time ago I ran across this thread. Bought a couple cans if plastic dip. Did my trailer wheels, spare first to see then the other 4. I was impressed. I then did my super glide wheels. I was concerned about it being durable. Well it is. After 5,000 miles they still look like I just did em. I decided to go with chrome wheels, changed it to a trike. Could not afford a new front wheel so I decided to remove the plastic coat. That stuff sticks really good. You can peel it off but it takes some time to get it cleaned. I have a commercial power washer, 4,500 psi. It would barely take it off. It worked but it took some time. I will look into the other brand

I see that seam you're talking about now. Gonna give it a whirl earlier next week when I'm off.

Did my stock a/c cover and horn cover. This stuff is great. I am planning dipping my fender strut covers, headlights and the top and bottom sections of my shocks. It definitely is an inexpensive way to complete the black out look of a bike.

Alright I'm sold went and got a can last night, I'm sure the primary has to be removed to do this, that can wait until I change the oil, but I'm starting with the mirrors, horn, a/c. Here we go.
