So it sounds strangely like every single other damn thing in life- you do it right, you get good results. You do a half assed job, you get poor results.
I really truly am not calling the powder guy's integrity into question (in his work it makes sense that he deals with a lot of plasti dip) but I don't see many bad reviews from people who don't own a competing business.
I really like what the product has done for my bike. Going to do the wife's VW soon.

Here's a bad review..
It wouldn't come off the textured part of the wheels and I put 5 coats on. Also pulled the paint off my fender brackets. I don't do powder or paint and have never spoken with joe outside of the forum

I want you to think about this, then go punch yourself in the face for a while.

Sorry. It's been a long Monday. But seriously, punch yourself.

I did punch myself after I was shocked that a $7 can of rubber paint didn't work like they said it did on tv... Had to tell the powder coater that I bought the wheels like that so he didn't punch me too

To each their own, good luck on your wife's car bud

I had originally plasti-dipped the lower legs on my Glide but whenever I painted my bike a couple weeks ago the dull look of the plasti dip didn't match rest of the bike so simply peeled it off forks and sprayed them with some jet black urethane. whether or not it'll stay on is yet to be seen. But I did break out the plasti dip the night before last to try something I hadn't seen done...Made a simple template and this is what I ended up with....

Only worry I had was possibility of blocking some of the headlight beam and cut down on night visibility but it had little if any affect on brightness of headlight. I did get the idea from those Adjure headlights although they look totally different, plus they cost right at $100... I've got mixed comments from the few people thats seen it but I'm digging it more everytime I see it
