'09 Super Glide with a chrome 2000 Heritage front end with a smooth fender, a Rick Doss custom head light, 20 inch apes, chrome controls and Avon grips.
After putting a few hundred miles on it, I absolutely LOVE it!
I've also got a set of hard backs (which I'm currently working on a mounting system for as soon as I can find a cheap set of latches) and a tour pack to be used for long trips (not mileage, time...for when I need to pack more).
The tour pack will be mounted for solo riding (meaning it will be mounted for me to lean on).
Stay tuned for more garage built, home grown custom work.
So there ya have it... Good bad or indifferent, What do the critics think?
I acually digging your Frankenbike. Looks like a dyna on a nice cycle of Juice. Not that Im Im advocating juice for anyone. LOL

No, seriously!
I think it may just look purposely tacky enough to be cool...LOL
c'mon there aint no leopards in your part of the woods...... alligators, mountain lions, raccoons, but no leopards.......
go with real alligator leather, before faux leopard look.
this coming from a guy who has seen real leopards and hides.

Where can I find a thread that has more details about making a conversion like this to a Dyna, i.e parts needed, problems and fixes with fit and function.........I want to do some more research on a mod like this and know that a few of you have done it and would prob know where to find info on it.

To the OP, .......SICK *** BIKE........

I love the light. It's Massive! One of my complaints about Dynas: The headlight looks too small for the bike.
Here's a picture of my bike's front. Bought the lighting from a member.
It's in the shop right now getting finished up. Can't wait to post pics. I guarantee there is NO other Streetbob or Dyna that looks like mine.
I know, the suspense is killing you.

Blaze

BZ ... well done ...

... concur on the rear fender recommendation ...

I like the Rick Doss / Indian-style nacelle w/ inverted teardrop headlight ... contemplated trying it myself for a while ...

I like a round headlight better but that thing is tough! Dig the bars, I ride 20's too. Way cool work.

I like it, did that to an Ironhead Sporty and an FXR.

I used a cut down Fatboy front fender and a full rear. balanced the look F to R.

I know it handles well. GOOD JOB.
