Riding in the rain..........
Hi - not ashamed to admit that I am a fair weather rider these days. Now being 56 and with all that chrome and lace wheels I hate getting my much loved Street Bob wet and dirty, not to mention getting myself cold and wet. When I was younger I rode in all weathers including snow and ice - but these days I am of the opinion that its got to be 'fun' if I am going to dot it!
Just wondering how many other feel this way............

58 and ride year round, (daily commuter,) and I ride in everything but snow/ice. But I never ride cold. I'm comfortable in all temps because I have the gear to go with the weather: 3 helmets Full Face to half, layered clothing, ( 30 degrees in the morning becomes 60 on the ride home,) Heated gloves, ( my hands can not handle cold,) etc.
A 35 degree ride, ( 37 miles to work,) is almost as nice as a 60 degree ride, because I dressed for it.
Why anyone would ride anything and be uncomfortable is beyond my understanding!
The full fairing with lowers helps..

I check the weather radar. Whole state covered, I take my truck. Scattered thunderstorms, bike.
If I plan a trip, rain gear goes on and I'm off. I ordered some long rain pants, by Blauer, from Squadfitters, but they are on back order. Once I get them, I should be able to ride and stay dry.
