extended warranty?

Instead of Extended Warranty think of it more like Part Failure Insurance. What you are really buying is protection against something that may or may not go wrong, ie Insurance. If you can afford it and it makes your ride more enjoyable, go for it. If you do not have anxiety over it don't get it.
grouping the price of all of the 'extended warranty' for all of the things I own:
Truck
Car
Car
Cycle
warsher
dryer
dishwarsh
ect
I doubt that all of these things are going to fail within the usable life span and if a few do the cost of that failure is much less than the total cost of all of the extended warranties combined. Using this logic, I do not buy extended warranties.
And for those of you spell checkers, I am from NJ it is pronounced warshing machine.
