I was told by a local HD Dealer in 2006 that they wash all the bikes with Ivory dish soap and for Denim paint to get a quick detail Windex is all you need. I have been doing this since 2006 and everything looks great. Dont waste your $ on the HD products IMO...

Thanks for the info , I don't think Windex will give it the shine ( gloss ) look ?
You don't want denim paint to look glossy, that's the point.
Just use car wash soap and water. Inbetween washes for a quick wipe down I use glass cleaner or the Meguiars quick detail spray I have for the cars. 5 years later, the paint still looks the same as it did the first day.
Harley has a Demin Paint Cleaner in the same bottle as HD Gloss. I use it now and them. Most of the time I just wipe everything down with Windex or a damp rag then dry it off.
I don't think the denim paint is supposed to have a gloss look. It's a matte or flat finish paint. I use S100. I'll have to try the windex. My neighbor uses pledge to detail her fat boy. It always comes out nice and shiny
