Default Break down of SE120R costs

Ok dyna lovers, I got the cost break down of my 120r build in my 2000 FXDX.

$4800. 120R in the box.
$1700. Misc parts. This includes the carb, intake, clutch, pressure plate, a special ignition cause of my bikes year, mounts, seals, gaskets
$1170. Labor including dyno breakin

$7570 total

Then the paint job and powder coating on the side. Labor to tear down the tins, front end to pc and reinstall is included in the above labor...

I would be interested on seeing a comparison cost on a tc88/96 build with a 103/107 stage 4. Misc parts would be similar, kit cost less, but labor much more I would think...

Parts and labor should be nowhere near $7500 for a 107''. Then again, a 107'' is no 120'', so you get what you pay for.

I posted images in a thread last week. I'll look it up

I understand on 107 cost. The misc part are the same since ivwould still these upgrades. I was told the labor would over double. What's the 107 kit cost?

The FM 107 is $2000 but doest inculde any head work like the 120. I bet in the end the 120 is only $2500 more apples to apples

Oh, I think I can sell the tc95 to recover some cost too. Using a kit you use your old motor. The 120 is a complete swap. The SE tc 95 is full built w 10.5 forged pistons, direct drive cams, 44mm carb, compresser heads etc so its worth at least $2k. Maybe the 120 is $1k more in the end...

Thanks for the rough cost break down.
I took 120 for a short ride not long ago, very impressive to say the least.
I have been toying with the idea of of putting one in the 05 instead of sinking money into a performance rebuild
