Default Front Fender Clearance?

Im installing a 21" x 2.15" Invader wheel (made by Scotty McLeod of InvaderWheels.com) w/ a Dunlop 402 tire on the front of my 98 FXD and am wondering if there will be enough clearance between the fender thats setup for a factory 19" spoked alloy front wheel.

You can redrill the mounting holes on the fender for more height

I went to a 21" and didn't have to mess with the fender at all. Why don't you just put it on and see??

Yep - or check the specs for each tire on the manufaturers website, the overall height will be listed. And don't forget that most HD fenders seem to be mounted unusually high, mind had enough room to stick my hand between the tire and the fender. If its off, just tape some 1/2" OD tubing on the tire, set your fender in place - mark and drill, I lowered mine so it didn't look stupid.

Just put it on. It is easy. Hour tops.

If it doesn't fit, the front fender holes can be redrilled a little bit to move it up, but not much. It is easier to lower the fender.

Well, It all worked out perfectly. I only had to trim the original left side spacer down 3/16" on my lathe and the factory fender dropped right into place.
