Default Already adjusting clutch cable???

Today on the way home I noticed that when I released the clutch lever it was not returning fully to the extended position, leaving a decent amount of slack. Easy enough fix adjusting the clutch cable, but I thought it was kind of wierd having to do this when I have less than 800 miles on the bike. Anyone experience anything similar?

Same happens to dirt bikes, quads, anything with cables. They stretch during break in. They should slow down on the stretching after the first adjustment. Perfectly normal.

There will usually be a small amount of stretch to a new cable. You do want about an 1/8" free play in the lever.
