Default Defender Passenger Foot Pegs

I have an FXDP and have been looking for a not-so expensive solution to add passenger foot pegs. $150-300 from a guy in the San Diego area is the best I have come up with.
Another suggestion was to bend flat stock on the short side and attach it to where the bags bolt on. Then drill a few hols into them to support the pegs. Powder coat and done.
Let me know if you have any luck.

You have any info on this guy in San Diego? I'm thinking the flat stock is probably going to be the way to go. Your in woodland hills right down the 118 from me. I will let you know if I come up with anything else.
