How do I go about removing a tank badge on denim paint? I was thinking heat it up and use some yarn or something. Will the heat mess with the paint at all?
I used a heat gun. A small rounded pick to catch the edge of emblem and just pulled it off while applying heat. Just go easy with the heat. Adhesive remover took off rest of gunk left.
I used 100lb test line, heat, and spirit gum remover that my old lady gave me after watching me scrub it with goo gone for 30 minutes. Spirit gum remover worked twice as good. You should be able to find it at beauty supply stores.
