Not meaning to hijack but need to ask how is the power at 85 MPH. Since the power is so good down low I was just curious if the power is good all the way across the rpm range.. thanks!! In addition to the andrews cam , check out woods carburetors they have some great cams too.

I have only been 85 or above a few times passinf someone. This cam had very good power at 85. I these cames like to cruise at 80 on the interstate. I just dont like cruising that fast but every time I look down at the speedo I am 80. I have not dynoed but the dyno sheets I have seen show good power past the 5000 mark.

The Andrews 48 is the best "bolt in" only for the '06 and up. If you plan to do big bore with increased compression, head work etc. Then I would look a little more aggressive. Pre '06 the Andrews 26 is in the same ballpark as the 48. Great bolt in. The 37 if you plan more.

You can get the cams from Direct Harley Parts for $225. You will need lifters also. I got mine from Comp Cams. When you order tejj them you want "Made in USA" lifters. They run about $60. Same lifter that Harley uses. (Comp Cams makes Harleys cams and SE cams) If you do the adjustable push rod install they are about $150 from Harley. Then some gaskets. This is the way I did it. I got a tuner from FuelMoto and use their custom map. You will love these cams. They also have a nice idle.
