Default No Electrical Panel Cover for 2012 Wide Glide?

I can't seem to find a moco chrome cover for my 2012 Wide Glide -- has anyone seen such a mythical beast?

Somebody posted earlier this week that parts for 2012s are not in the parts system or catalogs yet, was speculated by certain dealers as around August.

Not sure if this would work but I would think that they would be the same from '10 to the '12's but I'm not positive I would ask your local stealer if it would work...

That's good to know. I am sure that the 2011 part will not fit - different system.

Seems that it should be that way, but much of the electrical system chnaged for 2012. New speedos, switches, etc. -- some the 11 part's dont seem to fit/work...

I know that the electrical system is different on the 2012's but if you know the part # on your existing cover and cross check with either a 2010/11 if you find that they are the same you will know that it will work. That's all I'm trying to say I can't see them changing it after 2years but that's my opinion.

Good luck on your search

BTW it wouldn't be the first time moco has stated something wouldn't work & it does

From what I have read, the covers look the same but the mounting tabs are different on 12 models and that is why there aren't any in the book yet, just send yours out to chrome, shouldn't cost much.

Hehe...excellent use of words there...shouldn't being the optimal term...unless you are sending out a whole bunch of parts to get done at once, even 1 small part will have you screaming expletives, just wait til the new parts come out.
