Headlight Fix - Frenched Trim

Headlight Fix - Frenched Trim
Went out to dinner last night and when I was ready to leave I noticed the low beam was out of commission. Used the high beam to get home..
This morning I checked out Sylvania's site and got the proper part # for my bike, went to Advance Auto and picked one up (last one on the shelf).
As I was mounting the light on the bike I remembered what a pain in the *** it was to get the Frenched Trim installed without a huge gap. Well same problem!!! Decided to remove the bulb and start over. Of course I damaged the prongs during removal.
Drove to WalMart and picked up another bulb ($3 cheaper). Tried it again SLOWLY AND WITH GREAT PATIENCE and lo and behold it fit nice and tight - no gap. And the headlight works!!!
That's it. Not much of a story except is shows how a 10 minute fix can develop into so much more.
