I called Fuel Moto yesterday and if I purchase everything through them I'm looking at $1424 without labor. Thats the woods 555 cam with push rods etc.., Short shots, power vision and their intake. My only concern is I do ride a lot of 2-up and didn't know if the woods 555 would be for me? I've seen people saying installations costs are around 700+ so I guess I'd be right there at $2100 plus.

CEcharles that's a pretty good deal you got especially with a dyno and from your dealer!!!

Horse Power is like Crack, once you get a taste...... I had Mitch at Rieman's do my cam and he has a shop in Quad Cities do the heads. 1650 for cams , heads, and
Stage II download. Runs good, very streetable build. IMO very cheap HP

IRO the other night i rode 2-up for the first time after the build and its great don't even know she is on there! I would not put short shot pipes on your bike you will kill the power BIG time!! i had short shots on my night train and when i put the cam in i could barley feel any gain then i changed over to the VH 2-1 pro pipe and boy did it make a difference! So two bikes and two 2-1 systems...i am a believer in the 2-1 if you are doing a power build, if you want sound do a 2-2.

Train, thanks for the advice I agree as well. Most of what I am hearing is the 2-1 is the best way to go. The looks kill it for me on the wide glide though. Anyone know if I'll notice a difference between 2-1 and the big radius?

Also just got a quote from my dealer and it's $510 plus tax for install. From what people have been posting that doesn't seem that bad.

i think if you have to go the 2-2 route, then make sure whatever you buy has a cross over tube to help it be more like a 2-1
