J&S Jack owner here, but doubt I have any photos of it in use.
The frame rails of the Sears/Harbor Freight jack are 14" apart. The J&S is 17" apart. The oil pan that hangs lower than the frame fits between the frame rails of the J&S. All 4 contact points (of the frame) rest on the jack. No modification or spacer blocks needed. I simply roll the jack under the bike and start pumping the jack pedal. No fuss, no muss.

I have a couple of crappy pictures I took with my oil coated mobile phone camera.

The collapsed height on the J & S is only 4 inches. No problems clearing my lowered SB. Hope that info helps someone.

Neither is superior to the other in my opinion. Either is superior to anything else. I own a J&S jack. I was lucky to find one on CL. I wanted the J&S because I knew it would be low enough to get under my LR. Both brands are Made in the USA, my preferred Country of Manufacture.

This video, and the close-up jack to frame pics above, plus all the J&S user love posted here did it for me. (The vid especially)

I ordered the J&S lastnight.
(It was shipped before noon!)
Plus, they're havin' a sale! 20 bucks off or a free oil drain pan attachment.

Thanks to all who posted.

I'll add my vote for the J&S. Ordered one a couple weeks ago and was shipped the same day. Works great on both my Fat Bob and my wife's Sportster.

I hope you went for the oil drain pan. I waited a year or 3 before I got it. Man, I wish I had it from the beginning.

Congrats on the new baby.
