I have a J&S, buddy has a PitBull. Both are really nice.
The PitBull lifts higher, has a bigger footprint, and costs more.
You won't go wrong either way.
They are both good. I bought the Pitbull because it goes higher and makes it easier for me to clean and work on the bike. I went all the way and bought the one that you hook a compressor line to. A real pleasure to use-no pumping with your foot. Fast and easy. I also got the swivel platform. Nice for working in the garage where I can swing the bike around for the best lighting. Yes, this was expensive, but I did it once and did it right and really enjoy using it. Good luck with whichever you choose.
Got my J&S jack the other day and can't stop raising and loweing the Glide. Shows you what a life I have! Anyway, the jack is super and I highly recommend it.
You'll be pleased with either...I'm another happy J&S customer.
Same here! I was very fortunate to find one for sale 85mi away. Called asking if it was still available. It was and the nice man held it for me. Came with drain pan and a part to lift a Gold Wing.
I have a Fat Bob and I really like the Pitbull. I also like the swivel adapter but they don't make it for the dyna model. My question . . . would the standard pitbull w/ swivel attachment work for my Fat Bob?
Anyone with pictures of the J&S with a bike on board? I'm thinking I may need to pick one of these up but I'm not sure how it avoids the typical dyna jack issue.
