I have a 98 wide glide with the dreaded odometer LCD leak. Looks like crap. I found a softail speedo part #67033-99a. Wondering if they are interchangeable? The do look identical, I don't want to buy something that will require allot of retrofitting.

Here is the part number for your speedo 67178-98, not sure if the other one is compatable but I'm thinking not.

 

Most of the newer speedometers operate on a data buss system,the older carbed bikes used a analog system and won't interchange.
