You could bungee any old backpack, or use a pack with straps for carrying skateboards... Or if you're after something more rigid and bike specific the kuryakyn custom roll bag is top notch!

That's a good looking set up. They should sell it like that as a kit

I have the same set up and bought the HD set. A larger bag that will fit a couple changes of clothes and a smaller bag that will fit smaller stuff. The small bag is great and you never know it is there. The larger bag looks goofy IMHO if you put it on the rear luggage rack. If you put it directly behind you it is fine. It looks bad enough to me, on the rear, that I'm looking for a set of saddlebags that I really like and can afford.

The saddlebags are Cortech sport saddlebags left over from my crotchrocket days, they are fairly inexpensive, expandable and come with rain covers. The bag on the back of the sissy bar is a cortech tailbag turned up and strapped to the sissy bar. I couldn't see spending the kind of money they want for leather or hard bags so I used what I had laying around, works pretty good, I think I'm into that whole setup a little under $500.

edit: and I bought the HD backrest pad, clips perfectly onto the Nelson Rigg bag.

How urgent is your need? There are tons of options out there and every one has pros and cons. Sounds like you intend occasional use so style really isn't the top concern - seems as if cost is.

I'd just start watching craigslist - around here bags of all sorts come up all the time at 50% or more off new. Worthwhile trade IMO.
