That what I'm starting to think myself.....Now I just need to see which shocks I will go with to replace these

 

Ok...New shocks and a service manual just got here...guess I'll be changing them in the morning!!

 

Just got done putting 12 inch HD shocks on....WOW what a difference!!

 

Were your shocks 13 1/2 ? I want to go the other way, have a LR and want to jack it up. Consider selling yours?

 

Yes they are 13.5 inches and yes I'd sell them. If you are interested we can work something out. they are 440 progressive shocks. I can send you pictures if you would like

I have a 2004 FXLR, can you confirm fit? I was thinking about FL air shocks but think these look better.
