Radial tires?

Radial tires?
I know finding a replacement rear tire for a newer WG is pretty well set on either a Dunlop or Pirelli as they are all bias ply tires. I did see another WG with a Michelin 180 on it but didn't get to talk to the owner about it. Anyway, has anyone run a radial on Harleys or are all bias ply tires. I would think a radial would open up a lot of choices from the sport bike sector.

Running a radial tubeless may have some advantages, but a tubed radial, not so much. In your case it would be ok to run a radial, but IMHO I would stay with the Dunlop for a good balance of ride, wear and durability. If you are going radial ck if your size is avail in the Bridgestone Battlax 020 series tire. Excellent tire for the money.

Radials
I run Michelin radials on both ends of mine and think they are great. They handle much better than the bias ply POS that came on the bike. I have the original Pilot Road tires on mine now but will probably go with Pilot Road 3s when the time comes to replace them.
BTW they do not follow tar snakes or bridge grates like the original Dunlops.
