Project Samson - Military bike with Ammo Can Saddlebags
Cleaned the bike and took some nice pictures with my camera and the saddlebags on.
The saddlebags are 50 cal WW2 cans, mounted with easy brackets and my rear turns and plate were relocated with easy brackets system too. The left can is bent a bit upwards, i went into a ditch last summer and have not bent it back enough I guess.
I am contemplating painting the cans back to olive drab, just not sure.

I think some 40mm cans would look more proportional and useful but the .50 cal ones aren't bad looking. I think OD would look better than black though as the current color really makes them look like something added to the bike instead of a part of the bike if you catch my drift. I was in the cavalry for 5 years and if I ever get the money saved I plan to go that color route with my Fat Bob.
