Default 2 up seat on street bob

I just purchased a 06 street bob that is bobbed out. I love the look of this. The fender struts are cut and fender chopped. It has rigid shock mounts. I love the look of the fender hugging the tire and wanna do a swingarm mounted fender and put shocks back. The problem is I want to have 2 up abilities. I have been searching and the best idea I am seeing for this is a floating 2up seat. I am trying to find ideas on how to do this for this scooter. Any help would be very much needed. I know the best option is to have a second for doubling but not an option right now. Please advise. Thanks.

You need the struts to support the weight of a passenger, I wouldn't risk the life of my significant other without them.

Rocket bobs sells a fender that only works when the struts are removed and they state that you can ride 2 up on it. Many ppl on here have it so I can't see it being a safety issue.

I see what ya'll are saying. I was thinking of some really rad fabrication. I was thinking of welding some tubing where the struts should mount. Say approx 3 to 4 inches. Put caps on the bottom. Build a tubular frame that would float over the rear fender. Have holes drilled in the tube to run two bolts thru the tubing on each side. Have it a quick and easy install and un-install process. Have it to where its nothing major in the way but still strong enough to hold someone.

Great lookin' scoot ... you might be SOL as far as a 2-up configuration ... just have her meet you 'there' ... ??

Just yankin' your chain ... welcome aboard the Dyna forum ...

... riding with a passenger--assuming you come up with a 'work around' to get a p*ssy pad mounted--on the 'rigid' suspension will be a short distance thing ... I'm thinking ...? Would not be too comfortable except bar hoppin' ... (at least for the passenger)

Like was said before, check out the Rocket Bobs voodoo fender. You would have to cut the rest of your strut off but they claim that you can ride two up with their fender.
