Discovered a good way to clean laced wheels

I have used the Harley cone-shaped brush and soap and water every 200 miles on my bike and the wheels look just fine after 5 years and 28,000 miles. It takes 5 minutes for the front wheel and 10 minutes for the rear. The rest of the bike takes about 10 minutes. There's no magic here. The washing needs to be done regularly and not after thousands of miles.

True I didnt keep up with the maintenance. I put 9000 mi. on it since March 1 last year.
I probably washed the bike twice and waxed the rims once. I paid for that though. The rims have some light pitting and the spokes were filthy. The.Classic Cloth has made them look almost new again. Cant do much about the pitting rims except keep them from getting worse.

I used it on everypiece of chrome and aluminum on the bike yesterday. It works great on everything! So easy to use. I might try a gun cleaning rod to get better access to the spokes. I also noticed that it removed all traces of rust. You have to get down next to the rim to even detect any pitting on the rims.
