I liked the looks of the Hyper Charger also, but reading everything around here changed my mind. Instead I'm putting on a Cobra Powerflo......there's also the Vance & Hines Drak that seems along the same lines....just no butterflies for effect on either. Look into them.

I got the HD passenger pillion and the one-piece Detachable Sissy Bar... has a classic look and easy to remove when I want to go one-up. My wife is petite and is comfortable in the saddle for over an hour. It has V&H 3" Twin Slash slip-ons with quiet baffles.

Ive heard mixed reviews on the Kuryakyn Hyper Charger, was thinking about going that route bud decided against it because of unnecessary moving parts, there is cheaper and better available. I use a medium low detachable sissy bar with a small pad. it looks good and has plenty support. get something that will actually work for your gal. As already mentioned the HD sundowner (pic below) is a very comfortable seat

nice choice for your first Harley ,
the pipes you fancy may be a bit harsh on long runs , they are pretty loud ,you will both go deaf , something like rush slip ons are kinder on your ears , and you wont have to do a full stage 1 tune to keep the performance .
and as for seats mustangs seam to get good reviews for comfort , you can get a removable sissy bar in black
and duel seat for when the misses is with you ... it will take about 5 minutes to take them off and pop on the solo for when your on your own , that way you don't spoil the looks of the bike for everyday use

Congrats on the bike. I have a Mustang on my Wide Glide and it is very comfortable but is on the thick side. I bought the solo Harley brawler seat for solo riding

I'm looking at something around 16" or so (I think….) but have never really ridden with them before.

Will get some pics up when I get some more free time and figure out how to post them!

@Patrick - The sissybar looks really good. My only concern is how low it is.. I feel like it may be too low to add highway riding comfort. What kind of feedback have you gotten from your passenger(s)?
I still haven't put a pad on it yet, but so far, my only passengers have been my kids, and they usually have a backback on, and just lean back against it... Of course that's only a 20 minute ride... For highway use, while maintaining the lines, definitely go for the 'Haulen ***.' I just couldn't afford one for my bike.
