Default New guy needs some help.

Hi all,
New to the Harley scene and have a question.I bought a used 2011WG with 800 miles on it. The bike has a Power commanderV on it and i noticed the ckp plug is unplugged and the male end has a wire jumpered to it's self. Is this normal practice with a pcV? or is this a way around a bad ckp? The bike runs fine to me, worried this will harm the bike if this not normal. Any help will be great. Thanks

Thanks guys... im going to call fuel moto. I would have to dig up paper work to call the guy that i bought it from, didn't really want to deal with him at this point. I would be worried to plug it in, it may short something out. Thanks for your ideas

it needs to be plugged like that because your using a power commander. it eliminates the 02 sensors. so your good.

yup your right pontiac69... after tracing wires again it is in fact the 02 sensor. Thanks again. I feel better knowing it's right.
