Wheel bearings ?!?!
Guys,
Im bulling the bearing out of a pair of Dyna FXD mag wheels that have been ridden 2k miles on ...
Question: after pulling them should I have them replaces with new or should I be okay pressing them back into the wheel ?
If I need to buy now ones where do you all recommend I go to do so? MOCO wants $30 a bearing adding $120 to my wheel project !!!
Bearing Part #9267
BTW ... some people here recommend I replace the Pulley bolts as well ... Should I ?
PLEASE HELP ...

Take a bearing you pull to a local bearing house. HD doesn't make bearings, they buy them. I think the last time I bought one I paid $17.00. I also recommend that you pop off the rubber seal and check the grease. I pack as much in as I can and put the seal back on and have never had an issue.

You definitely need need bearings, pulling them will damage the races and will cause early failure if you try it. Same goes for the pulley bolts, they don't cost much but if reuse them and they fail it will destroy your pulley and wheel at the very least, possibly more - and then you get to buy the pulley bolts you cheaped out on the first time.

Lake Shore HD - usually 20% off and sometimes a little more, often times they have a free shipping deal if you spend X number of dollars.

Just plug in your part number to the search box at the upper LH corner and it gives your price.
