I've always wanted one of those Simpson helmets. I wish they weren't so expensive.

 

I'd say go for the white. It'll look cool. Plus when you pull up to a group of guys all wearing their black helmets, with their black bikes, you'll be glad you have something a little different.

+1 on the full face to. I wrecked on the freeway 80+ and walked away with some bad injuries, but my head n' neck were in the clear. Saved my life for sure. Helmet took the hit.

 

One thing to consider about the Simpson -the view opening is smaller than other premium helmets. Wearing it gives more of a constricted view of everything than would other, more up-to-date, designs. It also fits close to the face up front and your chin area may actually rub against the inside. The Simpson design is probably the oldest helmet design out there and dates waaay back to the Star Wars era when people wanted to look like one of those star fighters or Darth Vader.

 

I'll keep an eye out for that when I try them on..there is a Simpson dealer not to far from where I live . I know with the outlaw bandit they made it specific for motorcycles so the view is opened up compared to other models like the street bandit.
