Default 2006 Dyna Low vs 2006 Dyna Low Rider

I have a buddy and his girlfriend is in the process of buying a used 2006 Dyna. We have found 2 bikes that she likes. They are both 6 speeds, with 88 cu in. Did HD even put a 96 cu in motor in a 06 Dyna? I was told HD did the 6 speed in the Dyna first in 06 and Tourings got them in 07.

Bike #1- Is a Black Pearl 2006 Dyna Low Rider. It has 6k miles, aluminum wheels, crash bar and sissy bar with pad. Very clean bike $9500

Bike #2- Is a Blue and Silver 2 tone 2006 Dyna Low. It has 7k miles, Crash Bar and it has smooth laced profile wheels. Very clean bike $9100

Sorry, but I really don't know much about Dyna's, help please?

What is the difference in these 2 bikes?
Why does one have Laced Wheels and the other have Aluminum Wheels?

Thank you in advance!!

Both are tc88 and 6speed- Harley brought the tc96 out in 2007. The two bikes are the same model except for paint and wheel options. The tutone paint is an option and so are the profile laced wheels. The cast are the base wheels.

'06 Dynas have an Inner Primary Bearing issue. '07s were modified to include 2 alignment pins between the inner primary and tranny.

Most never had a problem, but many did. You can look it up on this forum

So, the cast wheels are basic stock wheels. Did not know that. Never have liked the 'look' of my front wheel. Rear is nearly un-noticable so it has never bothered me much, but the front is just ugg. May look into a new front wheel. Recommendations for what/where? Thanks

Default Dynas

Sorry to break the bubble but there is no Dyna Low....Yes there is a low rider but no such thing as a low. If it has the mag wheels, it is a Dyna super glide. That's the only Dyna that comes with mags. The speedo is on the handlebars.

My Low Rider was equipped with the cast wheels as a stock item (and I prefer them over spokes).

Default Mags

Do you order it that way or did you buy the bike used ? I've never seen one from the factory with cast wheels that weren't ordered that way.
