Default Chubby WO501 8 inch Drag bars

Hey all, I just ordered the bars and wanted to know if anyone here have experience installing these to an 09 FXDC.

If so, was changing cables and or wires needed?

Also, should I order bushings and if so, firm or soft?

Post pics of your bike if you are bored

Thanks in advance....

You will have to run your wires into the bars. If you don't the switch box's won't fit anymore. Stock bars has a dent put into the bars so the wires fit at the end of the switch boxes.

If you follow the wires to the switch box you can see the dent in the bars.

They are the Chubby 6" riser. Did you take the protective covering off the ends yet?
Mine had rust and was starting to pit. I had to sand the rust off. For the money spent they should have been perfect. Other than that the black powder coating looks great.

I didn't run the turn signals wires into the bars. I don't know what I want to do with them yet. We don't need them here in ILL. but I still want to use them.

I have yet to receive the bars, just ordered them. I am quite concerned about it, now that you mention about the rust. I agree, for the price they should be flawless. I will wait and see.

I have already relocated my turn signals to the fork.
