Love my bike; over 36k miles on it and just made the last payment! I have seemed to be going through a number of the dual filament bulbs in the rear turn signals – the brake light filament in particular seems to be what goes out. I can’t say for sure one or the other is more to be honest.

Is this a known issue? I know when they replaced my cracked rear fender (thankfully!) that they didn’t wire it up very good and the harness got shorted out and I only patched it up – not with heat shrink or anything.

Just curious if that might still be contributing or if anyone knows of an issue and solution?

 

I was having a problem with the left rear burning out...the dealer had to replace the bulb three times in about a 6 month period under warranty.

They finally took a closer look and found the internals to be loose...it was fixed under warranty and I haven't had a problem with it in well over a year.
