Default Hand Grip Glue ?

One of the winter mods i'm doing is changing handgrips-never did this before on bikes i've had in the past-i've heard that hair spray is supposed to be a really good adhesive for grips-is this right? If not-what glue is best for putting new grips on? --thanks

Hair spray works ok for rubber grips, does not work for metal grips.

Metal grips really need set screws.

Make sure you clean the bar and grip before you go to stick it on. Makes the adhesion better. (I use hair spray)
