Well I've been wanting to put a batwing on my Fatbob for the past year. I was ready to possibly put on a single head light and mod one on. When this one showed up then the second thoughts started....do I really want to mess with the looks of the front end by putting this faring on.
So.....I really like it. Installation was a breeze. I left the turn signals on the handle bars because I'm not really sure what I'm going to do yet. Been riding all weekend. Cruising at highway speeds now is great. At 65mph+ it's really nice not having that pressure on your chest. I can cruise one handed with no effort..not like before anyways. Also don't use ear plugs anymore. The wind noise has really cut down. And I only got hit by 1 bug this weekend, never had to even clean the sunglasses.
FYI I don't wear a helmet 98% of the time. The only down side so far was the buffeting. With the Mustang seat, I would get buffeting at the forehead when going over 60mph. With the bare bones it was heaven. I seemed to be right in the zone. I suppose a taller shield would help. I started with the 5" shield.
