Yeah, it was interesting to say the least with them gustly winds but fairly stable with extra weight. I love how you can adjust the suspension on this scoot.

I hit a bird with my helmet..lol... we had a car backing up in reverse that i had to swerve around... ran into a pack of bicyclist 20-25... that wouldn't move..lol... It was fun though, we just have to fine tune the seating and her pegs.... were're planning on riding to sturgis, so we gotta practice and get the scoot right

How does that that T-Sport fairing do for wind protection? Just curious.

To be honest i am not sure, but the wind hitting the chest isn't bad. Been awhile since my earlier riding days. Some buffeting that can be unexpected "they have a trim material i was told i can attach that will decrease the buffeting and i will be trying that as well
, but we did about 20-30 miles on 1-85 at 80-85mph with 30-40mph gusty winds at times and the fairing seemed to do well, and the scoot felt great

Yeah, the boots are on the way. The ones she had, she couldn't feel the pegs like she wanted too, "too hard of a sole" that pic showing her feet were at the very end of the day and we went home and she put on her sneakers for a few more miles.

I have some HA chaps, just didn't wear them. I felt pretty good in the double jeans. Below 40 i wear the chaps though

Hey yeah thats the kind of stories I like to read. My wife is a fair weather rider too she wants no part of the cold. On the gloves you might try some electrically heated ones. I have a pair that is heated with battery packs in the back of the hand. In forty degree temps they keep my hands toasty, but when it gets down to the lower thirties or slightly below I start to feel it after about forty miles. Anyway, good on ya I like to read or hear stories like yours.
