Bout lost my religion tonight....
....Installing the True Track. I started on the front mount, and finished in about 15 minutes. Thought to myself, <those wussies on the site that think this is hard to install, pshaw...> Then, basking in my pride, I started on the rear. 2 hours later, I had used up all the cuss words I could think of, so I started to double up on them. I do believe it would have been easier to disassemble the entire motorcycle to gain access to the mounting points. I must say their customer service is first rate as I had to call them twice. Finally finished and was too tired to go for a ride cause I had just about every tool I own out on the garage floor to pick up. I'll try it out asap and report if it really did anything IMHO.

I did mine by myself last Thursday. I've been out of the Navy for 25 years but all of the cuss words came back like it was yesterday.
Getting the first rear bolt started into the True Track was a bitch - a second set of hands would really have helped.
On the positive side, the ride through winding roads on Saturday was a whole new expreience - nice and stable through the turns.

As crazy as it may sound - I had the opposite experience. Although the rear wasn't easy ... it wasn't too bad. I have a harbor frieght MC lift and I had gotten new tires so the rear tire was already off. I had read a lot of posts about how hard it was so I took off the rear exhaust and bracket. Maybe I just got lucky but it lined up right away. The front however, I had some previous problem with the motor mount so I thought now would be a good time to change it. That wasn't too bad but I have a Calif. bike with the smog canister mounted up front - I could not seem to line it up. Well eventually I got it and after my initial ride ... it was well worth it.
