On second thought, are you measuring the oil from the top of the tube, or are you going strictly by volume? If you're going by volume, calculate the volume of the extra 6" of length (use the ID of the tube, not the OD!) Volume in cc. is the same as the extra oil in cc, except you should calculate and subtract the volume of the spacer. If your spacer is 6" long, 36mm OD and made of 0.040" wall tubing, you would subtract about 17cc of oil.

155cc is about 5.25 oz and 17cc is about 0.6 oz.

Old thread, but, could anyone please Identify the rake degree and/or fork extension on this 1995 FXDWG?

My guess is Accutronix triple tree kit - 3 degrees and +4 tubes

Thank you.

I think that the Accutronix trees for the EVO FXDWG 41 mm forks are +5 degrees.

That together with the original 32 degrees in the neck should really make a noticable difference in looks compared to an original with 0 degrees tripple trees.

"Front wheel is already home before the rear left works parking lot"

By the way, You might try asking over in the EVO section.
There are some really EVO pros over there.

Lindberg you're totally right. It's a 5degree rake on the triple tree. Wondering about the fork tube extension if it's 2in or 4in. Anyway for me to measure without taking the forks out of the lower?

Measure distance from underside of lower tripple tree down to top of dust cover.

Ask if someone could do the same on their standard length fork Wide Glide, and compare the lengths.

Given that the extended forks are using OEM springs and correct lenghts preloading spring extensions to give the same preload on the springs.
