Default Lower shock that can handle some weight?

Maybe I'm asking too much of the, "best of both worlds", but I'm looking for a set of shocks that lowers my Fat Bob by an inch and can still handle two up riding? I'm not a cornering demon, I'd rather do that on my Buell.

So can I get a good shock that lowers the bike but can be adjusted for two up riding or a couple weeks worth of luggage touring without bottoming out?

I am in the middle of putting the wide glide fender on and the lower stance, front and back, would make it look so sweet!

I have the Burly slammer shocks which are about 1.5" lower than stock. Never bottomed them 2up or touring with luggage.

Just get a set of progressive shocks. They make heavy duty versions if you have a lot of extra weight. Some smaller guys say its not necessary. Just don't get their lowest price ones. I think the 440's are the step up that would still be comfortable. The heavy duty would depend if you and/or your passenger a larger size. Otherwise I heard they are a little to firm.

Perhaps some 11.5 -12" air shock system so u can run it in the sweet spot with the air and still be really lowered and can handle a ton of weight.... Just a thought....

Progressive heavy duty 412 11" should get the job done.

I weigh 235 and my wifes 149 and ive never bottomed out with those shocks.
