May be selling bike. Fair Price?

Lotsa black denim SBs for sale. There are a few on this site so you might want to check them out. I would always price my bikes according to my finances. If I wasn't in real bad shape I'd overprice them so that when my wife asked I could tell her, "It's up for sale!" and keep on riding.
If I actually had to sell it I'd price it so that when someone saw the price they'd want to buy it. It's hard to be objective when you're selling your bike because they're always so special because of all the mods you've lovingly added. I've seen them anywhere from $8,500 to $12,500. If you really want to sell it you're probably going to have to go about 9k (not knowing much about it). On the other hand, if you want to keep on riding, price it at $12,500 because it probably won't sell.
I just bought one on this site with a $2,500 one of a kind paint job and less than 5,000 miles and I paid less than 10k. It's a great time to be a buyer. Selling sucks.
